Toynol® DS-194L/194H are high-performance water-based dispersing agents, composed of a mixture of amine alkyl hydroxy affixture solution of multifunctional copolymers and surfactants. They feature excellent pigment wetting, outstanding deflocculation, and strong charge repulsion. Capable of reducing grinding system viscosity and improving millbase color development, they are especially suitable for high-color black dispersion. APEO-free, compatible with various powders.

3.2 Usage Methods and Recommended Dosage
3.2.1 Recommended Dosage
Inorganic pigment (titanium dioxide): 3-7% (based on pigment, calculated by dispersant solid content SOP)
High-color black pigment: 50-80% (based on pigment, calculated by dispersant solid content SOP)
3.2.2 Operation Guidance
Do not add wetting agents separately; Toynol® wetting agents can accelerate powder wetting
Add dispersant to water first, then add powder; stir at 4000rmp/min for 10min, then grind with glass beads (0.8-1.2mm, filling rate 70%) at 3000rmp/min for 60min
Conduct gradient tests to determine the optimal dosage
Add Toynol® defoamers to eliminate grinding foam
3.2.3 Performance Evaluation Methods
Viscosity evaluation: Use Brookfield rotational viscometer
Centrifugal stability: Centrifuge 20ml millbase at 3000r/min for 10min, observe layering and calculate precipitate ratio
Viscosity stability: Store millbase at 40℃ for 24h, allowable viscosity change ±50%
Fineness measurement: Scraper fineness meter
