Vanconol® ET-102 Corrosion Inhibitor
---------Surface Gathering and Transportation
1. 🎯 Abstract
Corrosion sources in oil and gas field development and gathering and transportation processes mainly include H₂S, CO₂, dissolved oxygen, and bacterial corrosion, which accelerate corrosion. On the other hand, produced fluids are usually high-temperature and high-salinity, further increasing corrosion risks.
Vanconol® ET-102 Corrosion Inhibitor is an adsorption film-type corrosion inhibitor developed by our company. It can effectively prevent corrosion caused by dissolved oxygen, H₂S, CO₂, and chloride ions, and also inhibit under-deposit local corrosion. The product is non-toxic, environmentally friendly, and free of heavy metals, suitable for use as an oil and gas gathering and transportation corrosion inhibitor.

3. 🛠️ Application Guide
3.1 Recommended Application Fields
Oil and Gas Field Development: Suitable for gathering and transportation systems of high-temperature and high-salinity produced fluids.
Corrosion Protection: Effectively prevents metal corrosion caused by H₂S, CO₂, dissolved oxygen, bacteria, etc.
3.2 Mechanism of Action
Heteroatoms such as N and metal-philic anchoring groups in the molecule are rapidly adsorbed on the metal surface to form coordinate bonds, thereby forming a monomolecular adsorption film on the metal surface to prevent corrosive media from contacting the metal. It effectively reduces the H⁺ diffusion process during corrosion, slows down the electrode reaction rate, and protects the metal surface.
3.3 Usage Methods and Recommended Dosage
Pre-operation Inspection: Check if the product in the packaging barrel is in a molten state. If solidified, preheat and melt it in advance.
Dosage Calculation: Calculate the required weight of the corrosion inhibitor based on the produced water volume. The recommended dosage is not less than 15ppm; when used under working conditions with temperature above 65℃, the recommended active ingredient content is not less than 75ppm. The specific dosage may vary according to the content of corrosive media in oilfield produced water. It is recommended to conduct laboratory tests before use to determine the economical dosage.
Dilution and Usage: It can be diluted according to on-site needs, and demineralized water should be used for dilution. Measure the calculated amount of corrosion inhibitor into a dedicated container and add it to the system.
4. ⚠️ Safety and Storage
Packaging: The product is packaged in plastic barrels with a net content of 220L per barrel; other packaging can be customized according to user requirements.
Storage and Transportation Conditions: During storage and transportation, protect from sunlight, fire, moisture, and collision. Store in a clean, cool, and dry warehouse.
Handling of Remaining Products: If there is any remaining product in the packaging after use, seal it properly to prevent volatilization.
Shelf Life: One year at room temperature.
